Out & About in nature - late Nov - early Dec

Despite the hot, dry weather the wildflowers are better than they have been for the last two years or so. The paperbark down Cannon Creek are fantastic which makes for a nice walk. 
The highlight though is the Yellow Hyacinth or Yellow Tiger Orchid (​Dipodium hamiltonianum).

This is only the second one of these we have found on the property. I was clearing some wild rosemary up at the St Bernard Rock Picnic area when I uncovered this rare find. Made my day!
