The Rock - Guided Walk - approx. 4.5km return
Advisory Note: All walks require protective footwear and clothing including a hat. Carry a first aid kit or at least a snake bite kit. Also carry drinking water.
Note: The Rock is not on our property. This walk requires prior permission of the owners of the two properties that you travel through. If you would like to do this walk please give us early advice prior to your arrival so that permission can be arranged.
We call the rock "Our Bald Rock" because it is able to be seen from the deck of our main residence and is easily seen above the northern horizon from the Tree of Life Spiritual Walk.
The walk to the Rock is about 4.5 km return. We often drive to the nearest boundary and walk from there. The views of the surrounding district are great, even seeing as far as the real Bald Rock across the border in New South Wales. It is a strenuous walk, climbing quite quickly. In September/October the Rock is a great place for wild flowers particularly the Boronia flowers.
